Disclaimer Description:Behavioral problems can be a real challenge for dogs owners, but with some basic understanding of what triggers unwanted behaviour, you could help resolve the problems. As Dr. Phil says, “you can't change what you don't acknowledge", except here, you can't change what you don't understand. A lot of patience also helps. Behavioral problems range from mild (whining, barking) to severe (aggression against people, other animals and/or destruction of property). It is absolutely amazing how much damage a dog can do, including dogs that will crunch up chain link fencing until their gums bleed.

Contributing factors: Triggers range from medically and / or psychologically induced behaviors, owner using incorrect training methods, not training their pet, and last but not least - boredom. Refer to "Aggression" and”Anxiety" for additional information.

Herbal Treatment:Some herbs that may form part of a formula are: St John's Wort has anti-depressant properties. Chamomile helps to reduce anxiety. Passionflower helps to calm nerves. Valerian has tranquilizer properties.

Homeopathic Treatment: Homeopathics are medical formulas based on a theory of like cures like and highly diluted quantities of medicinal substances are given to cure symptoms. nervoheel (heel)

Other: Reiki or other types of therapeutic touch is beneficial. It has been our experience dogs respond positively to the healing human touch.
